Willow

Welcome to Willow Class Page

A big hello from everyone in Year2 and Miss Bradshaw!

Year 2 is a very exciting year for your child and also for me as their teacher! In Willow Class we learn about wide a variety of topics, ranging from The Great Fire of London and Samuel Pepys (who rather interestingly, buried his Parmesan cheese during the fire to keep it safe!) to how to make an electrical circuit and what happens to chocolate when it is heated and then cooled – definitely one of my favourite experiments, and always popular with the children. We also grow our own beans and find out about the different animals living in our school environment including those inhabiting the school pond – and if we’re very lucky, we sometimes even find Newts!

In Year 2 we work hard, but at the same time have lots of fun on our learning journey!
